I don't retrieve that's safe. I don't pump ofttimes so I don't have the rules on the height of my head, simply I recall once it'due south heated it's done. Not to mention, I don't really like my food in one case information technology's been cooked, chilled, heated, chilled over again and reheated.

Yep, I've done the exact aforementioned thing and sent it the next 24-hour interval. I've always heard it can be heated twice. Breastmilk is amazing and doesn't follow the regular nutrient spoilage guidelines.

are they putting it straight in the microwave?? I heard you are not supposed to directly heat the bottle upwardly it destroys all the good stuff in your breastmilk

I wouldn't. When that has happened to me before I just go alee and feed LO the canteen and pump when I get home. I would prefer to nurse as well but don't desire to waste a bottle as y'all said.

What I was told at the hospital was that later on an hour, it loses some of its immunogenic properties. Also, if the baby has already started to drink from information technology, leaner starts to grow after an hour due to the saliva being introduced to it.

I had a bottle refusing baby when he started daycare and I confess to rewarming a lot of breast milk. I believe in the antibacterial powers of it. I didn't leave it out for hours and hours or anything simply I was working too hard to pump to waste matter all that milk. My baby was always healthy. No issues.

I call back the official reply is no, only I have washed it! If baby hasn't started drinking from it and so I would do information technology. I know how you feel not wanting to waste bottles when you tin can nurse instead! I would personally save it in the fridge for the next day.

Thanks so much ladies! I ended up putting it in the fridge overnight. I tasted/smelled it this forenoon and it was totally fine and then I decided to bring information technology to day care for his showtime bottle. I am typically pretty cautious with stuff like this only felt comfy doing information technology on occasion. Thanks once again for your advice.

I seem to call up from my food rubber classes when working in a group dwelling house (they have strict regulations to prevent foodborne illness) that you never re- heat something twice.

Of course that's non saying it volition grow bacteria merely that it could ...
