If y'all are on a child account nether a parent then yous volition not be able to alter your gamer picture to a custom one. If not endeavor the instructions below.
To upload a custom epitome, connect a USB device with a JPG or PNG image on it. Y'all can also take hold of an image from OneDrive (available in the Microsoft Store nether Apps) if you lot have information technology installed on your console.
Note
Custom images are only bachelor for adult Microsoft accounts.
- Press the Xbox button on your controller to open the guide.
- Select Sign in, choose your profile, and so select My profile.

Non sure why anybody is telling you to reboot your console when you did say the "xbox app".
